Do luxury cars get shipped on the top deck?
On open carriers the top deck avoids drips from vehicles above, and you can request it. On enclosed carriers the question mostly disappears since the trailer is sealed.
Should I be worried about hail or rocks on an open carrier?
Weather and road debris exposure on an open carrier is real but small, the same exposure the car had being delivered new. If that risk is unacceptable for your car, enclosed exists for exactly that reason.
